Sara Cosgrove Studio is a multidisciplinary interior design and interior architectural practice with bases in both Dublin and London. We work on a range of hospitality, multi unit residential developments and one off private residence projects.
We have a fluid house style and love to integrate the old and new in our spaces. We pride ourselves in curating layered interiors that have a freshness and vibrancy to them. We source our materials finishes and furnishings from a select range of trusted suppliers, and take full responsibility for every installation we run. In every brief, with the clients requirements in mind, we focus on sustainability and longevity to create our timeless interiors. We pay attention to the smallest elements of the design, and are seasoned in working amongst a projects design team. We understand the commercial importance of budget and programme, working hard to deliver the best result for the client.

Originally from County Mayo, Sara attended Trinity College Dublin then moved to London to study at KLC School of Design. Upon graduation she worked at a number of top design houses including Helen Green Design and Candy & Candy. Sara was then appointed Head of Design at the world famous department store Harrods London. During these years she specialised in high end residential, retail and development projects. Delivering several award winning show apartments, creating residential material packages, marketing suites, consulting on residential development master planning and working on private residential projects across the globe. In 2014 she set up her own design business, and shortly after joined forces with Starwood Capital/Principal Hayley group on the launch of an exciting new hospitality brand as Design Director of The Principal Hotel Company. Whilst at Principal she oversaw the creative direction and design of The Principal Hotel Edinburgh George Street , The Principal York, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, The Principal Hotel Manchester and The Kimpton Fitzroy London (rooms, public spaces, bars, restaurants and events). Sara and her team are currently working on a wide range of projects, including luxury residential private commissions, multi unit developments and luxury hospitality.
Sara is a recognised industry commentator and lecturer with regular contributions to the Financial Times, The Irish Times, Decorex, Index Dubai, The Luxury Briefing & Sleep. She has a regular ‘ask the expert’ column in The Sunday Times Ireland. Sara also sits on the KLC School of Design Alumni Board.

Carlos' highlights within design include using a variety of materials in his work, the use of lighting to emphasize a space and styling the finished product
Fun Fact: Carlos loves to work out and is a self confessed CrossFit addict!
Emily's design highlights are pulling together schemes while working with a vast array of fabrics and picking out lighting features
Fun Fact: Emily loves to travel and is always planning her next trip away!
Felipe's design techinque includes using a strong blend of materials that compliment eachother and using colour tones/lighting to create spaces that reflect their purpose.
Fun Fact: Felipe loves basketball, if he isn't watching it you'll find him playing it in a park somewhere!
Inga's design favourites are working with fabrics to put schemes together, designing bespoke furniture and styling every corner down to the smallest detail
Fun Fact: Inga loves the outdoors, especially walking her dog Snoops
Luke is a social media Guru with an eye for interior design, he loves photography which explains why he takes such beautiful shots of our schemes!
Orla is your first point of contact when you call or visit our studio, she loves seeing our projects build from the very start and come to life.
Fun Fact: Orla loves music and has a growing interest in gardening, weather permitting of course!
Ruth's favourite elements to design are designing bespoke lighting, sourcing natural materials and delving into the small details that make all the difference
