About Diarmuid
Diarmuid Gavin is a garden designer and television presenter who works in a contemporary style. Educated at Dublin’s Botaniic Gardens, he holds an honorary doctorate from Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
He runs a garden design studio with clients throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. His varied influences range from the work of Garret Eckbo, Roberto Burle Marx, Martha Schwartz and Derek Jarman’s garden at Prospect Cottage.
