Sara Cosgrove
Visionary Designer | Global Tastemaker | Authority on Luxury Interiors

Sara Cosgrove has never followed a traditional path — she has redefined it. Originally from County Mayo, Ireland, Sara studied at Trinity College Dublin before sharpening her creative edge at London’s elite KLC School of Design. Her ascent was swift and deliberate: early roles at design powerhouses Helen Green Design and Candy & Candy placed her at the epicenter of the global luxury design world.

Handpicked to lead design at Harrods London — the most storied luxury department store on earth — Sara curated award-winning residential projects, landmark retail spaces, and development masterplans for a clientele who expect perfection and discretion in equal measure.

In 2014, she founded her eponymous studio, establishing a brand synonymous with sophisticated, high-impact design. Shortly after, Starwood Capital Group appointed her Design Director for The Principal Hotel Company, where she transformed Britain’s historic addresses into icons of modern hospitality, overseeing visionary renovations including The Kimpton Fitzroy London, The Intercontinental Edinburgh George Street, and The Kimpton Clocktower Manchester.

Today, Sara leads a select portfolio of luxury residential commissions, strategic multi-unit developments, and world-class hospitality projects. Every project reflects her relentless commitment to craft, storytelling, and commercial precision — a rare combination that distinguishes her work in an oversaturated market.

Sara's influence is consistently recognised at the highest level. She has been named among House & Garden's prestigious Top 100 Interior Designers and, for the past three years, has been honoured as a Top 50 Country and Townhouse Designer — cementing her position among the leading figures shaping contemporary luxury interiors.

Beyond her design practice, Sara is a recognised industry voice, contributing insights to The Gloss, The Irish Times, and The Sunday Times Ireland, and speaking at global summits such as Decorex, Sleep, and Index Dubai. She sits on the Alumni Board for KLC School of Design and served as a lead judge on Ireland’s highest-rated property show, Home of the Year.

Sara Cosgrove designs more than spaces; she curates worlds where luxury, legacy, and liveability converge — setting a new standard for what high-end living can be.
